Thanksgiving is here once again, and we are blessed to have another year with family. Not everyone can say that and we all will have at least one family member unable to make it for whatever the reason is. So, let’s take this time to enjoy the ones near and remember the ones who aren’t so blessed who may have to work. Let’s say an extra prayer for those who will be working hard to protect our rights, heal the ill, or serve us instead of being home.

A Thanksgiving Prayer by: Samuel. F. Pugh

Oh, God, when I have food, help me to remember the hungry; When I have work, help me to remember the jobless; When I have a warm home, help me to remember the homeless; When I am without pain, help me to remember those who suffer; And remembering, help me to destroy my complacency and bestir my compassion. Make me concerned enough to help, by word and deed, those who cry out for what we take for granted.

Thanksgiving is the holiday where people consume the most alcohol. So please stay safe this holiday season. If you are going to drink, please don’t drive. Use a designated driver or call an Uber. God bless from all of us at YOPI STUDIO.
