Are You Having A Stroke?
Updated: Dec 23, 2019
I received an e-mail recently from a reader who remembered a previous post I wrote last year. It was about how to recognize if you are having a stroke. This came in handy when her husband, only 35 years old, had these symptoms and she was able to get him help immediately. Thank goodness he is home now, and they are blessed to still have each other.
So, I wanted to take some time to thank God that this past article was able to help someone and re-post in case you missed it.
Here is an easy acronym to remember that will help you recognize the symptoms of a stroke. If you or anyone you know has the following symptoms, please call 911 immediately and get to a hospital.
F Face drooping: Is your smile uneven or is your face numb?
A Arm weakness: Does one arm drift down after being raised?
S Speech difficulty: Is your speech slurred or difficult to understand?
T Time to call 911: If the answer is YES to any of these symptoms, call 911 immediately.
