For me, Veterans Day is the second most important day for the United States of America. Our founding fathers came here with a grand vision of freedoms that we have been blessed with for over two hundred years. The men and women who have joined our military forces over the years have made many sacrifices for us to live here in the U.S.A. with all the great opportunities that we would not have if we were born anywhere else in the world. Whether you agree with everything or not going on in this country, you should be able to agree that without those sacrifices made we would not be able to live with the generous freedoms we have here. We have great opportunities not only in how we live our daily lives but also to have the ability to make great changes that other citizens in other countries would be persecuted for. So let’s take this day and thank every person that has served in our Armed Forces just so we can enjoy the freedoms that we take for granted. I am blessed to have known many great people and am thankful for all of their sacrifices but I would like to especially say thank you to my Dad who served in the U.S.A.F. and my awesome husband Paul, who served in the U.S. Army. Thank you to all who have served I am forever grateful for all that you have done for everyone in the U.S.A. God Bless America.
