I am not vegan nor a vegetarian but I do try to eat as healthy as I can. I was quite surprised when I tried this vegan recipe for parmesan cheese.

This vegan Parmesan cheese is healthier than the traditional version. It’s ready in less than 5 minutes and you only need 4 ingredients to make it.
1 c. unsalted cashews (150g)*
4 T. brewer’s or nutritional yeast
1 t. fine sea salt
1 t. garlic powder
Grind all the ingredients in a grinder or food processor until well mixed.
* You can also use other nuts like walnuts or almonds. For a neutral flavor use cashews.
Serving size: 1 teaspoon

Carbohydrates: 1.7 g
Protein: 0.9 g
