When my children were younger I didn't have enough time to sleep and when I did get to sleep it just wasn't long enough. Now that I'm in my fifties, there are times I have trouble staying asleep. I made a few adjustments to aid in a more well-rested slumber. First, I abstain from caffeinated food and beverages as much as possible. Second, I use bath salts scented with my choice of essential oils (lavender is a good one). Third, I mist a heavenly scent I created with rose petals in my bedroom and on my linens. If I still need a little help I take one valerian root supplement within 30 minutes before bedtime. I prefer Valerian Root since it’s natural and not addictive. What helps you get to sleep naturally?
