I am not vegan nor a vegetarian but I do try to eat as healthy as I can. I was quite surprised when I tried this vegan recipe for parmesan cheese. Vegan Parmesan Cheese Author: Simple Vegan Blog <-(You can find more awesome vegan recipes here) Prep time: 5 mins Total time: 5 mins Cuisine: Vegan, Gluten Free This vegan Parmesan cheese is healthier than the traditional version. It’s ready in less than 5 minutes and you only need 4 ingredients to make it. Ingredients 1 c. unsalted cashews (150g)* 4 T. brewer’s or nutritional yeast 1 t. fine sea salt 1 t. garlic powder Instructions Grind all the ingredients in a grinder or food processor until well mixed. Notes * You can also use other nuts like walnuts or almonds. For a neutral flavor use cashews.
