    I am not vegan nor a vegetarian but I do try to eat as healthy as I can. I was quite surprised when I tried this vegan recipe for parmesan cheese. Vegan Parmesan Cheese Author: Simple Vegan Blog <-(You can find more awesome vegan recipes here) Prep time: 5 mins Total time: 5 mins Cuisine: Vegan, Gluten Free This vegan Parmesan cheese is healthier than the traditional version. It’s ready in less than 5 minutes and you only need 4 ingredients to make it. Ingredients 1 c. unsalted cashews (150g)* 4 T. brewer’s or nutritional yeast 1 t. fine sea salt 1 t. garlic powder Instructions Grind all the ingredients in a grinder or food processor until well mixed. Notes * You can also use other nuts like walnuts or almonds. For a neutral flavor use cashews.     The most important travel tip I could offer anyone is about the money. The first thing that you need to do is advise your financial institution that you are leaving on vacation. This is to ensure that your unusual purchases away from home won't be flagged. There is nothing more embarrassing than trying to make a purchase and your card is denied. The second thing is to protect your cards with a RFID wallet if you don't already own one. This will prevent others from reading your card numbers while they are in your purse or travel bag.     When my children were younger I didn't have enough time to sleep and when I did get to sleep it just wasn't long enough. Now that I'm in my fifties, there are times I have trouble staying asleep. I made a few adjustments to aid in a more well-rested slumber. First, I abstain from caffeinated food and beverages as much as possible. Second, I use bath salts scented with my choice of essential oils ( lavender is a good one). Third, I mist a heavenly scent I created with rose petals in my bedroom and on my linens. If I still need a little help I take one valerian root supplement within 30 minutes before bedtime. I prefer Valerian Root since it’s natural and not addictive. What helps you get to sleep naturally?
